VMWare vSphere ESXi 5.5 update available
For all those of you out there that recently completed the migration from earlier version, you may want to note that version 5.5.0a of VMWare’s vSphere ESXi has been released.
The latest build numbers are as follows:
VMware vCenter Server™ 5.5.0a | 31 OCT 2013 | Build 1378901
vCenter Server Appliance 5.5.0a | 31 OCT 2013 | Build 1398493
Although these updates are considered minor, you should check to see if the fixes they bring to the previous builds are relavent in your environment.
Personal note: I’ve had a great experience going from VMWare vSphere ESXi 5.1 to 5.5. The only minor issue I’ve seen so far is an alert that is triggered incorrectly.
