Outlook 365 Reply All not working (The operation failed” error)
If you get an error message after updating your Outlook 365 in early 2022 running on Windows 11, you may have found a bug.
The good news is that by the time you found this there is an easy fix. If you tried this previously, like I did, then it wasn’t working. The newest version appears to allow this fix to work.
1. Exit outlook
2. Make a backup of you system (just in case)
3. Rename the outlook folder under C:\Users\YourprofileName\AppData\Local\Microsoft\
4. In control panel, click on mail
5. Click on Show Profiles
6. Click ADD and give it a new name
7. Fill out your information.
8. Start outlook and watch a new Outlook folder get created under the AppData\Microsoft folder.
9. Confirm that outlook is back to normal!
10, You can now delete the renamed (old) Outlook folder if you wish.
